When you want to enjoy a refreshing adult beverage under the stars, head to one of DC’s beer gardens. You can enjoy your favorite brews, incredible scenery, and even a bite to eat. The beer gardens near our Kingstowne apartments include:

Wunder Garten

Inspired by Germany’s beer gardens, the Wunder Garten began as a pop-up destination. It quickly became a cornerstone of the NoMa neighborhood. Today, it’s open year-round and offers a relaxing outdoor space where you can kick back with friends. The team boasts that they put as much effort into cultivating the garden as they do selecting the beers. The vibrant space comes complete with cabanas, seasonal fire pits, and a large tented beer pavilion. For dinner, enjoy a Cali dinner. It pairs well with a pint of Bells Oberon Wheat or Raised by Wolves IPA.

The Brig

Found between Barracks Row and the Navy Yard, The Brig is an open-air beer garden featuring a fun, vibrant setting. It’s called one of the best pet-friendly restaurants in DC. What’s more, it gains recognition from The Washington Post, Eater DC, and other publications. Outdoor televisions will help you keep up with your favorite teams and keep track of the score. The garden also features towering trees and picnic tables where you can share stories and laughter with friends. During your visit, enjoy the bratwurst with a pint of ice-cold beer.

Dacha Beer Garden

When two friends decided to open a beer garden, Dacha was born. After finding the right property, Dmitri and Ilya had to convince the owner it was the perfect spot for a beer garden. Dacha has grown to become a local favorite and is known for its Liz Taylor mural covering a 40-foot wall. Draft beers include 7 Locks, Right Proper, and Mustang Sally.

For another way to spend time outdoors, enjoy some disc golf fun. You can test your throwing skills before you head to beer gardens near our apartments in Kingstowne. If you’re interested in a home at The Elms at Kingstowne, contact us to schedule a private tour.
