Adult classes are offered daily, and all fitness levels can join in the fun. Potomac Kempo is just a five-minute drive away.

Seichou Karate

Voted “Best Martial Arts Classes,” Seichou Karate offers a serene setting that’s conducive to serious martial arts study and is just a 20-minute drive away. Founder Richard Romero began studying Kyokushinkai-kan karate in 1971. He earned a black belt four years later. Richard represented the United States at the World Championships and has also demonstrated karate throughout Europe. He opened Seichou Karate to help students achieve a high level of fitness. The instructors all hold master’s degrees and have decades of multi-disciplinary experience. They hold adult classes in the afternoons and evenings throughout the week.

Be Ryong Martial Arts

Be Ryong, located 20-minutes away, offers a rigorous martial arts program. Students range in age from four years to over sixty, and classes are divided by level. Master Yun earned a black belt in taekwondo when he was eight. Today, he also holds black belts in hapkido, judo, and kickboxing. Master Yun began teaching in 1995, and is known for his passion. He recommends that students attend twice a week, and adults can enjoy classes in hapkido.
